Memorial ship MIKASA started from 1926 and hoisted Naval Flag every day. This flag was lost just after WWII.
Late Mr. Ishimoto, former IJN aviator got this flag from American collecter and he had a plan to return this flag to MIKASA.
As his died this year, his widow Ms. Ishimoto tread in him footsteps and visited MIKASA to return it.
After ceremony, this flag hoisted.
