Mr. John Murphy, former Mayor of Barrow in Furness visited MIKASA on 08th June 2018.

He served as Mayor 2011 - 2012, and serves town council member now.

He sent plan of MIKASA and others to Memorial ship MIKASA, after then Mr. ARAKAWA, Director of MIKASA Preservation Society escorted him.
